For Sudden Oak Death in California
- Mix 25 oz of
"VITAL® " to
128 oz of water, this makes a 20% solution. For a
30 % solution... 2 parts water on part Potassium
Phosphite. The
injection
Sites should be 5-6 inches apart, using the full
20 mls per injection site. With the 11/64"drill
bit, Drill about 1- inch in the bark furrows, (botton
of the ridges) the Chemjet tip will seat ( a leak
proof seal ) about 1/2" depth into white sap wood.
PP is highly mobile in trees and the uptake is
usually from 5 to 45 min.... drill on a downward
angle from knee to waist high.
For Oak Wilt Injection,
KESTREL®
Propiconazole 14.3% MEC, under the trade names of,
Kestrel, Qualii Pro's PrimeraOne and Alamo, all
are water-based, micro emulsion and have a
neutralized pH factor minimizing tissue damage and
is designed for faster uptake within 3-5 hours,
when diluted 50/50 with water. With the
11/64"drill bit, Drill about 1- inch in the bark
furrows, (botton of the ridges) the Chemjet® tip
will seat ( a leak proof seal ) about 1/2" depth
into white sap wood. The syringe loaded with 20
mils of product solution, provides the prescribed
10 mil dosage rate with spacing the syringes 3”
apart equidistance around the trunk stem and place
the Chemjet® injectors from knee to waist high.
